Finally, it begun. As of March 12th, 2008, Diego U. has officially entered the basketball season. I have high expectations for this season, I believe it will be the high-light of my year. After almost a year of rigorous training I feel ready. I want to make this season the best ever to win the championship undefeated. The line-up, can be either one or two in my opinion. Ian A. as PG, DJ B. as SG, Diego U.(ME =) ) as SF, Santiago M. as PF, and Nick C. as C, or Daniel A. as PG, DJ B. as SG, Me as PF, Ian A. as SG(3 Guard formation), and Santiago as C. Any of these formations will allow us to win. If we have over 10 games, I want to achieve over 100 points in total if I play every game, and atleast 10 assists. I think that 1 steal per game, and maybe 1 deny per game, or 1 game yes 1 game no. I wish with all my heart that we go undefeated and teach everyone that dedication pays. When the year started, I was nothing out of this world. But with DAYS of training(days as in i spent way more than 72 hours of training in total) and dedication, I became, in my perspective, the best player in MS overall. There are players that are better defence than me like Santiago, and maybe DJ is better offense, but defence and offense together I think im the best or maybe the second best.  Well, I wish the season goes well, and to everyone, come watch our game on April 2nd, thats next week’s wednesday!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=XCkx7sjPsjM&feature=related  Link to video because apparently freaking Edublogs is having problem with youtube videos like that saying that it has been deleted when it hasnt. Please take some time to go to the link if you cant see the video here, its worth it.

That is a video of the known Rafer Alston or Skip 2 My Lou. When I hear the words streetball or AND1, I think of Skip 2 My Lou, Hot Sauce, The Professor, but the one that takes my attention the most is Rafer Alston. He is one of the few that have gone from streetball, to the NBA. He, for me, is the most influential Streetball player there has been. He succeeded past streetball into the NBA where his career took him from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Miami Heat and then the Raptors, among others. His skill in streetball has never been challanged, he was, and still remains for me, one of the greatest players that have ever played this wonderful game of streetball. His skill surpassed the skills of any other player in the AND1 team and even of some NBA players. The challange for streetball players is that they play with totally different rules, but nonetheless, even though turbulent, his carrier in the NBA has been good, with a little bit of bumps, but it has been a great career so far. I think that Rafer still has a spot with the streetball giants and his name and nickname will be remembered for a long time.
